End of School Concert - Civic Center - Honey Grove, OK

Well, I honestly wasn't expecting much from this show, but I had to ask forgiveness for that short sightedness. This was an awesome event and we had a blast ministering and sharing the Gospel.

Setup was pretty smooth. Greg and I setup while Tim and Keanan rushed to get there from work. Sound check was really lame for us. Then Soulfire took the stage and that was the first time I had to pick my jaw up off the floor for the night. Wow... they sounded incredible!

By the grace of God, the sound got ironed out before the show started and it actually ended up sounding pretty good we think. So we played and then Keanan delivered the message - "The five points of Christianity" or something close to that. I remember he had a point for each finger on his hand. Long story short - if someone came into the show not knowing what it means to be a Christian or how to become one, they've gotta know now for sure. Keanan did an awesome job.

Then Soulfire just totally rocked out the show. We were all thoroughly impressed. Most of the stuff they played was original and it was way up there, man! You could close your eyes and imagine Kutless or Pillar on the stage real easy. It was AWESOME. I really hope those guys stick with it and hang onto their faith through the process.

Things remembered: The perfect timing of everyone's arrival, the friendly HGISD people, picking my jaw off the floor multiple times while Soulfire played, and praying for God's forgiveness for placing limitations upon Him.

Spring Break Bash - Watermill Baptist - Valiant, OK 2 SOULS SAVED!!!

Wow! It never gets old seeing God move in the lives of youth and it sure never gets old being used by God!

This was an awesome event which was well planned and executed by Paul and Tara. You guys and Pastor Bob were sooo nice. Thank you for having us! And thank you guys for your outpouring of generosity. You overwhelmed us! And pastor Bob... a quick note to you. It is so refreshing to see a pastor with your understanding. Thank you for following God in everything you do and for allowing youth to be reached in a different manner than adults. You're AWESOME!

We've been looking forward to this gig for months! It was our first gig with Tim at drums and he did a fabulous job. It seemed things were going crazy, though, on the morning of the gig. That morning, we found out our sound man (Jarrin) wouldn't make it because his brother was in an accident. You guys lift his brother (Darrin) up in prayer for a full recovery. Anyway, so we didn't panic. God's had us here before. It was no big deal. And sure enough - God provided. Tim's brother John ran sound at the last minute and did a great job!

A big "thank you" goes out to Tim's family for showing up to watch us play and helping with the show. Tim's sweet wife took all the pictures of the gig and helped tear down! Tim - you don't deserve her!

So we ate (thank ya'll for the super grindage) prayed, played, preached, and played some more. Our showmanship was a little rusty, but that's way okay - because God used it anyway. 2 SOULS! We really don't know what number to put there. Several people raised their hands to say they prayed to accept Christ in their lives, but no one came forward at the end. We're guessing two as a conservative number. The number doesn't matter. What does matter is that this is proof that God is still in this ministry and we are on the right track in serving God this way. We love it, God! Thank you for using us, Tara, Paul, and Bob in this manner.

Things remembered: Forgetting the kick drum mic, setting up two subs for the first time, Tim's entire family showing for the gig, Keanan's giant pick giveaway, and being amazed at God using our humble service.
