New Year's Eve Party - Evangel Church of God - Paris, TX

There is no cooler way to bring in the new year than to be praising God. These guys know how to do it right! This was a great experience with a great group of Christians. It was truly our pleasure to bring in the new year with you guys. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. A big THANK YOU goes out to Keanan for helping with setup, running sound, and teardown. You are such a blessing to us.

As always, a message was given tonight and it was awesome. We didn't get to see the results of our work, but we know seeds were planted. Thank you, God, for using us once again!

5th Quarter- Civic Center - Honey Grove, TX

Well, we did it again and it rocked! All the churches in Honey Grove get together and host a 5th quarter in a neutral place - the civic center - for the kids. Man, what a great ministry! We really applaud you guys for seeing past your denominational differences and coming together to provide alternatives for kids.

Soulfire kicked it off and of course, they totally rocked! We had a complete and total blast! It is always fun to minister with you guys. Your hearts are clear and that makes all the difference in the world. Keep your faith strong and don't get distracted. We gave a testimony tonight, but there were no decisions made. It got to be really late by the time we finished, so a lot of the crowd left. The few that remained worshipped strong, though! Amen!

Halloween Bash with Soulfire - Civic Center - Honey Grove, TX

How cool is it to be using satan's holiday for God? That's what we did and it was AWESOME!!

Oh WOW! Soulfire totally ROCKED the house! What a great combination! You guys got everybody on their feet and they were totally stoked by the time we took the stage. Soulfire is a group of younger guys totally sold on using their talent for God... and man, do they use it! I spent most of my time in the back with my mouth hanging open in awe! Keep praising God, fellas! We can't wait to play with you guys again!

Well, this gig just rocked from top to bottom. The setup and sound were perfect. The pointy headed dude (satan) tried to throw a few technical difficulties our way, but God wouldn't let it happen! God even provided a GREAT soundman in the form of Keanan Guillory - a friend of mine from work. Thanks, dude! You really did a great job! We played a little different set and put the invitation at the end. No one responded tonight, but we know for a fact seeds were planted. God had specific plans for the show that night and praise to Him that He let us in on 'em. We're praying for you, Honey Grove. Can't wait to see you again in heaven if not sooner!

Youth Rally - FBC - Detroit, TX God's best show yet through us according to the critics! It totally thumped! Everything went perfectly. The music was great, the crowd was loud, and the crowd was BIG! You guys showed up in a major way! Then, it only got better.

I don't think praise and worship ever sounded quite like that. You guys filled up the building! We're totally impressed. And then at the end you guys blessed us with "I can only imagine". That song will always have more meaning to me because of you all. Thank you for having us and thank you for worshipping with us.

Morning Worship - Howland Baptist - Howland, TX What a total blessing! As you look down our list of performances, you'll find only one other Sunday morning show. The other was at a boy's ranch. So we weren't totally comfortable, plus, Howland isn't the biggest city in Lamar county... okay - we were intimidated. But God had a blessing in store for us. By the time we finished, it was obvious that God was in this church. The congregation embraced this ministry and listened with attentive ears. It really felt like you guys wrapped your arms around us and gave us a big hug from God. That was so cool!

After the show, there was a "Dinner on the grounds" OOOOOOWWEEEEEE!! That was some super good eatin'! And the fellowship was awesome. Howland Baptist, you guys rock in our book! Thank you so much for having us. You were a blessing to us.

5th Quarter - Mt. Olive Baptist - Reno, TX Dude! Who is that jamming in Reno? I can hear it all the way from the Highway! This was a way cool show! Jesse, you did a great job on sound! Thanks again, man! Alan, you did a great job of organizing! Thanks for the crowd and the location. We hope we can work together again soon!

We always pray before we perform. Most of the time, we try to pray with the event organizers or leaders. Sometimes time is short, but this time it wasn't. We had plenty of time and we used it all! Alan, thank you for what you're doing for those kids in your church. Thanks for praying with us and lifting up the show in prayer. It has an affect. We did God's work tonight, men... and it was good!

CU@ The Pole Rally - FBC - Clarksville, TX Super Sweet Action! WOW! you guys screamed your heads off!!! That was sooo cool! The awesome Mr. Shag wasn't able to make the gig, so we asked Jody V. to step in and run sound. Wow, Jody, you made it totally rock! What did you do to our light system, man? It will never be the same! You made it look like it was 5 times the system it is!

The whole point of this gig was to encourage people to take a stand for God at their flag poles the following morning. It was a total blessing to be able to worship and minister with you guys. We did a praise and worship set, then the awesome Mr. Jody V. gave a lesson - challenging us all. A great invitation was delivered. Then we had a rocking concert with totally wacked out lights! That was awesome! No one responded to the invitation tonight, but that's okay. We were doing what God wanted us to do. Being obedient is what it's all about. We will never know until we get to heaven all the fruits of our labor. I know we're all really looking forward to that day when we can look out over a crowd of souls and know they were changed because we were obedient to God. Amen!

Rockin' in Hugo - Hugo, TX Well, It was a little scary when we first showed up, but God had great plans in store for this one! Man! It ROCKED!! This was our second parking lot gig, so we learned a few things from the first time. Setup went a little smoother. A BIG HUGMUNGOUS THANK YOU goes out to Greg Cunningham of Cunningham Equipment for bringing his truck and trailer at a moment's notice. Thanks also to the Yoders for allowing us to use their trailer.

So, we setup and played and we debuted a new song that totally rocked! It's all about being able to praise God in a music form that's not an old hymn or a praise and worship tune. Not that those things are bad, they just don't always express the joy we feel about being redeemed by God Himself.

You guys that were there totally rocked! Thanks for showing up and bobbing your heads, peeps. It rocked, and God was lifted up. We gave an invitation at the end of the set. No one responded, but we know we planted seeds if nothing else. Hopefully, we showed some kids for the first time that being a Christian is not a boring thing.

Youth Lock-in - Ci Ci's Pizza - Paris, TX 4 SOULS SAVED!!! You gotta love it when God works like this!!! This whole gig was just unbelievable! What an awesome time of meeting with our brothers in Christ and ministering!

We started setting up at about 9:30 and had a lot of help. Thanks to all you who helped setup and tear down... it really makes a difference! Anyway, we ate a little pizza courtesy of Mr. Eric and Ci Ci's pizza and played the gig. Jesse was there to make it sound great! It was our first gig with new headset mics... They gave Jesse feedback fits, so we gotta figure something out to fix that problem. Otherwise, the headsets were a really "freeing" experience. Thanks to God for providing the new gear. We can't wait until we can get out in the crowd and jam right with you guys!

So next the youth minister from Caananland Community Church (the sponsors of the lock-in) gave an awesome explanation of who Jesus is. He told of Jesus' ministry, torture, death, resurrection, and saving grace. God had him change the message at the last minute, and it was obvious that God gave him the words he needed. Next, we gave an invitation and 4 kids made it to the front very quickly. It was obvious that God's perfect timing was in place. Just amazing!

All in all, we just love gigs like this. It was 3:00 am before we got out of there, but we love it! What a blessing to be part of God's work! Thank you for using us, God!

Youth Revival - Beckville High School - Beckville, TX 5 SOULS SAVED and 5+ REDEDICATIONS! SWEET!! There just isn't any other way to describe this gig! It totally rocked. We could tell that a lot of prayer went into the planning of the event. God was there. It was the first annual event of its type for the town and by far the best we've seen. You guys totally rocked.

It was a three day event - the first two days we couldn't be a part of for logistic reasons. Friday evening began with a praise team lifting up the Lord and invoking His presence. You guys did an AWESOME job! Everyone's spirit was so cooperative - it could've only been God. Next a comedian presented his routine and incorporated the gospel message seamlessly. We witnessed a skit depicting the crucifixion of Christ with Satan's commentary. It was cool! Then the speaker who had taught the previous two nights wrapped up his series and challenged everyone there. One soul was saved after his lesson.

Finally. we took the stage as a wrap-up for the entire event. Thank God for providing in His perfect way. We've been in great need of a sound man and just happened to mention that fact to a friend of mine. He knew a guy from his youth group who ended up coming with us to the gig and doing a FANTASTIC job! Jesse, man, you are an answer to prayer. So Jessie made it sound good and God made it rock!!! We challenged the crowd again and explained clearly how to be saved. It was a blast. Thanks, God, for letting us be part of Your work this way!

Splash Day - Downtown, Paris, TX Dude! We got to check out the system for the first time with our new processing gear! WOW!!! Thank you, God!

Well, it's official... we've now opened for square dancers and cloggers! This event was for the purpose of promoting downtown merchants and featured several different forms of entertainment. We kicked the event off (after the rodeo parade completed its trek around the square). We got halfway through the first song and had to stop because the parade came back through the square and Glen's ugly face was spooking the horses! Not really... The sound system really was spooking them, so we stopped, waited, and picked it up again. We witnessed to those around us, invited some to church, and presented Christ clearly from the stage. All in all, it was a blessing to be the only Christ centered performers there. Thank you, God, for giving us the job of solely representing You. We pray we did an adequate job.
